FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we meet on the project site (your yard) to discuss how I can help you. Next, we will communicate (generally via email) to fine-tune your services, complete a couple quick electronic forms, and get you on our schedule. Right now, our schedule is favorable to you!

What experience and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started with mowing lawns as a teenager. I also shoveled snow for customers. As an adult, I did tree work professionally for more than a year. I then joined a reputable landscape and hardscape company, where I worked for nearly a decade. I spend my "free time" reading about (and watching YouTube videos about) various topics ranging from fertilizers to food plots, and many other topics related to this industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I always enjoyed the outdoors, and I love to garden, so I was first referred to a position at a company by a friend from church. I started as a landscape professional, then soon moved to the hardscape crews, where I learned all the skills necessary to build various high-quality hardscapes of all the various types. Those projects often included landscape installation as well. I finished that position as a Project Manager. As things were changing at that company, I became increasingly inspired to create my own company, thereby also helping to create a legacy for my five children.

Describe an aspect of your company you are fond of.

I have been enjoying working for my own company! I can take the time to do quality of work that I am proud of. I love seeing customers appreciate what I can do for them and gaining their trust and loyalty in the process. I can involve my family, too. This has truly been a blessing!

What questions should customers consider before talking to a professional about their project?

How do you want to use your outdoor living space? What kinds of plants do you like or dislike, if any? Do you have any water drainage concerns?
